(12-22) 19:21 PST SAN FRANCISCO -- San Francisco police are investigating another case of fan violence at Candlestick Park after a 66-year-old man said he was attacked by several men at Monday night's matchup between the 49ers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

For all of the flack that San Francisco gets for being the "City of Gays", those motherfuckers are violent. Seriously first the Giants fan practically gets beaten to death, then the shootings after the preseason game against, and now this guy fears he is going to be killed when he gets into a fight at the Steelers game.
Overall, except for the power outages, I came out of this trip to San Francisco impressed. The city clearly is jacked up about their 49ers, so much that they get into 10 to 14 fights a game. As far as the performance on the field, their defense is stellar and they didn't even have All-World LB Patrick Willis. Don't be surprised if this these guys upset the Packers and find themselves in a rematch with Black and Yellow in the Super Bowl. If Jim Harbaugh can find a few really good playmakers to put around Alex Smith on offense, the NFC is screwed for the next several years.
